The Library of Congress is the largest library in the world, with millions of books, recordings, photographs, newspapers, maps and manuscripts in its collections. It is the main research arm of the U.S. Congress and the home of the U.S. Copyright Office.

An online collection particularly strong in materials documenting the history of the United States and the lives, interests, and achievements of the American people.

A Library of Things is a collection of items such as kitchenware, musical instruments, and games hosted at a library that library patrons can check out with their Libraries in Clackamas County (LINCC) library card.

As part of a statewide consortium, LINCC cardholders can download e-books, audiobooks, and videos. Most can be transferred to other devices for use away from the computer. Don’t worry - your local library is happy to assist you if you have difficulties!

 Logging in to the mobile app for the first time?  Here's what you need to know:

  1. Open the app and select Sign IN
  2. You do not need to create a LinkedIn account. Just select Sign in with your library card
  3. In the Enter your Library ID field enter lakeoswego (make sure it is all lower case)
  4. Enter your library card barcode and PIN and select Continue.
